About the Brand - An Inspiring Founder Story
Owner Elimar "Ellie" Depaula had been a makeup lover throughout high school, but she set her sights on a business career and went to college. In 2019, she was involved in an accident that left her disabled, and her life changed forever.
She moved home to be with her family in Florida and turned to makeup as a creative escape. As Ellie dove deeper into the world of beauty products, she couldn't find any true holographic lip glosses with the distinctive rainbow reflection that holo products should have and wanted to create them.
Seeing her determination and passion, Ellie's father gave her a $200 loan to create the products she craved, and she found her new calling. She researched makeup formulations and tested different shade combinations before landing on four core shades, and Queen Cosmetics was born in 2020.
